Coach Nico is currently a strength and conditioning coach at Pro Athletics.  He played baseball locally at Millikan High School and graduated in 2020. After high school Coach Nico attended Long Beach City College, but did not play baseball. Instead, he chose to redshirt at TCS Post Grad in Dallas, Texas. In Texas he learned a lot about himself as a baseball player and worked on injury prevention, strength, and power to maximize his athletic ability on the baseball field. Currently, he plays baseball at Cerritos College while pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. He plans to stay around the game of baseball as long as he can and to help others be the best versions of themselves along the way.  He is dedicated to helping youth baseball players as they prepare for next-level baseball, both in terms of physical strength and also injury prevention.  His goal is to provide longevity for baseball players at all levels.


Coach Joey comes from D1 baseball experience, being a part of the Long Beach State Dirtbags from 2016-2017, where he was a catcher.  Coach Joey is currently a baseball coach at El Camino College, providing college level baseball players with his knowledge and experience.
He attended El Camino College from 2014-2015 where he batted .298 and .304, respectively, in two seasons with the Warriors, totaling 78 hits … named second-team All-South Coast Conference as a freshman.
Coach Joey attended West Torrance High School, where he was a three-sport athlete, lettering two years in wrestling, three years in football and four years in baseball … won two Bay League championships on wrestling team, won the 2011 Bay League title in baseball and reached the 2012 CIF finals in football … as a baseball player, named First Team All-Bay League twice, First Team All-Area in 2013 and First Team All-State in 2013 … batted .356 as a sophomore and .411 his senior year … in football, played quarterback and safety for the Warriors … combined for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in two seasons as quarterback … hauled in 18 interceptions in three seasons at safety … named All-League and All-Area in all three years on varsity.


Coach Duffy was a professional baseball player and played in the MLB from 2001-2010.  He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates as a centerfielder.  He brings his vast baseball experience and skills sets he learned while playing at the highest level in baseball.  Coach Duffy emphasized the approach to hitting both from the mental and physical aspects of the game.
Coach Duffy grew up in the Arizona area where he played high school baseball.  He went on to play college baseball at junior college and eventually transferred to Arizona State University where he played D1 baseball.  At ASU, he batted .373, with four homeruns, 37 RBIs and 20 stolen bases and was named a First Team All PAC-10.


Coach Mike Gallo played in the MLB as a pitcher and brings extensive knowledge about pitching to the Pro Athletics staff.  He emphasizes the mental approach to pitching, including how to attack the zone and strategizing pick offs to control the run game.  He is a big proponent of proper mechanics in pitching and how to achieve these goals.  With his knowledge of baseball that he has gained as a player, Coach Gallo looks to help the next generation of players achieve these skills as well. 
Coach Gallo grew up in the Orange County area and played at Millikan High School.  He went on to play at Long Beach City College and Long Beach State University, where he was the 1999 Big West Pitcher of the Year.  He was also a 1st Team All-American in the same year.  He was eventually drafted by the Houston Astros in 1999.  He was a National League Champion with the Houston Astros in 2005 and pitched in the MLB World Series that same year.
